What can I put in a toastie maker

What can I put in a toastie maker ? I have only ever done cheese and ham. Or chocolate spread. There must be other stuff I can do?

Bacon and beans makes an elite level toastie but unfortunately also generates a lot of mess in the toastie maker - totally worth it though!

Fish fingers and tartare
Bolognaise
Chilli

Tuna, red onion and cheese
Roast beef, onions, mushrooms and cheese
Chicken, chargrilled peppers and cheese
Nutella & banana
Ham, tomato, cheese and Italian seasoning

You aren't limited to sandwiches.

Eggs.
Pancake mixture
Brownie mixture
Cake mixture
Halloumi
Make your own hash browns
Loads of stuff.

Pancake mixture is great - 4 triangle pancakes cooked at once so everyone can have one at the same time, no waiting around for the next one to cook.

Do you have to cook the bacon before hand?

That last bit of curry takeaway , don’t cram it on your plate 🤣 it’s tomorrows lunch !

Leftover mince/bolognaise/curry

If it is just to use the machine

Wraps folded so has 3 different fillings
Eggs
Bacon
Hash browns
Naan bread
anything that needs cooking on a flat surface really

I have done omlette in my toastie.

I love a Dagwood

I always do a variation of cheese and onion.
Sometimes Brie and chutney but more often extra mature cheddar and sliced red onion.
Dh has used the sandwich toaster to make a keema toastie which I think is weird but he said it’s amazing 😂
Dd1 likes tuna mayo.
Dd2 does Parma ham or chorizo and mozzarella.
Ds is not a fan full stop. He’s the real weirdo of the family!
Essentially though for me they must contain cheese which goes all melty and delicious.
And now I really want a toastie but we don’t have any suitable bread in the house 🤬

Thin slices of apple with a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon (sultanas added if we have them). Custard occasionally added inside too.

Pâte and opinions* . They used to sell this at the racecourse in Cheltenham, it was delicious.
