Delay repay

This morning I caught a train that was 33 minutes late. I saw it was late, and so waited at home. I bought my ticket after the time the train would have originally left... can I still claim delay repay, or will they say that I never intended to get the train at the original time as the time on my ticket is later?

They won't know or care whether you showed up... the question is what time did the train arrive at your ticketed destination (not what time it left your starting point) as that is what they go on for delay repay.

Think you will get declined. Was the next train also delayed?

Worth trying a claim, if they decline you will be no worse off.
