Listening to a podcast on the trial of Ashling Murphy. The main presenter pronounces both Ashling (she says Ashlinn - that is a different name) and the place name where the murder took place wrong! (there should be an emphasis on the last syllable, the presenter doesn't give an emphasis anywhere!) Surely one of the first things you'd check if reporting on an event in a different country to you is how to pronounce the names properly? It's really grating on me!
