I know people tend to give their child's school teacher a Christmas gift but do people do this with nursery teachers?

We get a room gift, so a shared box of chocolates or a few packs of croissants and juice in January

We do a gift for the room. Usually a hotel Chocolat hamper so they can each take home something small and individually wrapped. It's hard to know what to do though.

Actually, the last two years ours have asked for food bank contributions instead which was very nice of them.

My DD always bought her children’s key worker a gift

MidnightOnceMore · 01/11/2023 22:09

I never bought a gift, just gave a card.

I gave gifts to all staff, however it was a tiny nursery (about 6 members of staff).

Thank you. DS only started in the summer and I wasn't sure of the etiquette.
