Does anyone else like reading movie trivia after watching a film/tv program?

Whenever I’ve finished something, I always go on IMDB and read the movie trivia they have provided. I always find it quite interesting

Love doing this. Especially when they tell you the Easter eggs. Not so keen on who worked with who previously.

After? I tend to do it during the programme/film.

I have a very short attention span for entertainment.

MaidOfSteel · 01/11/2023 21:11

All the time!

AnyFucker · 01/11/2023 21:19

Yes, lots

Yes. I read that it's an adhd thing

elQuintoConyo · 01/11/2023 21:25

Yes, definitely. It started off in the Days of Yore watching the DVD extras - I know crazy amounts of stuff about Jaws, Wizard of Oz, Priscilla, Heat!!

Dorothy's basket in the Wizard of Oz was also used in Little Women. Totally unimportant trivia but I find it rather comforting.

Love to.
I miss the forums on imdb.

peoplearepeople · 01/11/2023 21:29

Yes! I do this all the time. I also listen to quite a few movie podcasts and I'll often go and search to see if any of them have done an episode on what I've just watched even if the film was rubbish. 😄

Me too! Grin

After a particularly riveting TV show I look up the cast to gauge if they have happy family lives (e.g. married 30 years with four children).

I love reading trivia about movies!!! The only reason I tend to do it after is in case of spoilers

TomAllenWife · 01/11/2023 21:34

Oh I love doing this too

I have missed many film endings due to it

HowYouDoinMooin · 01/11/2023 21:35

OMG yes! I have found my people!!! hey!!!

TheChosenTwo · 01/11/2023 21:37

Usually during what I’m supposed to be watching! I prefer spoilers anyway.

That's why I've always enjoyed the DVD commentaries, I sometimes would watch the film again straight away with the commentary on!

Pity we don't really buy DVDs anymore!

Autiebibliophile · 01/11/2023 21:48

I do! And if it's a true story I look up what happened to compare to the tv show. I will also read up on the actors/ production etc. I have asd and suspected adhd.
