Looking for recommendations for a coffee machine. Something simple, easy to use and clean and under £150

its a gift for someone and I don’t drink hot drinks so no idea what I’m looking for!

Jura, but probably over your budget.

It depends what type of machine. It may be hard to get this right if they're a coffee snob.
There's filter (drip), pods (like Nespresso), espresso (using ground under pressure) or bean-to-cup.
At that budget you can really only get a filter or pod machine. Pod is convenient for single cups but some environmental concerns and the quality of coffee is variable (but they can choose reusable pods and better quality if they want). If going pod, stick with Nespresso rather than Tassimo or Dolce gusto. Filter is good for a group of people, but slower. Allows them to buy posh coffee if they want though.
It's probably worth trying to find out their preferences for style of coffee

@Mumaway thats really useful thanks. I just haven’t a clue where to even start.

they definitely aren’t a coffee snob, they’ll drink anything, just need something, quick, easy and doesn’t take a lot of cleaning.
will start by looking into the nespresso machines. Thanks again

We went through loads of coffee machines. And then eventually went for an Aeropress which we've used for over a decade now. Plus a milk frother. Less than £100 for both.

It makes the best coffee and doesn't need any special stuff apart from the filters and cleans up in seconds. And no aluminium capsules.

Thanks, I’ll have a look at the aero press, never even heard of it.

I thought this was a good deal when I was looking the other day at Nespresso machines.
