I'm going to be a granny!

I can't tell anyone (bar my partner) in rl but I'm so excited!

My ds and his girlfriend found out today that they are going to be parents-im going to be a granny!

First grandchild for both sets of families and I'm beyond pleased

I'll be such a glam gran!

So happy for them both-they will make such good parents

My mum spends time baking with DD.

My memories of my nanny was her bread pudding, playing cards - 21 for pennies and her fry ups.
My grandad was a former Irish farmer, not very well educated but he used to sit us on either arm of his arm chair and tell us stories of giants and leprechauns and listen to his fiddly-dee music

when my DIL was expecting her first a friend said to me that the rush of love when that baby is placed in your arms is intense.
