Anyone with experience of receiving parcels for Australia?

Wondering if anyone can help. A friend has kindly sent me a parcel from Australia . On the tracking it’s been stuck at ‘waiting collection in the U.K.’ since 25th October.

I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal or if I should be worried I’m not going to get it? Is it likely to be customs? Auspist jot even very helpful as say now it’s I. The U.K. they can’t help!

Yeah it can take a while. I used to send/receive lots of parcels at a company I worked at a couple of years ago and Australian ones took longer

It’s been 3 weeks from Australia. My main concern is that it appears to have reached the U.K. a week ago and then sat there ‘awaiting collection in the U.K.’. I don’t mind waiting for it more worried it’s somehow stuck at customs or something
