Flying with medical conditions advice

Hi,

Posting here for traffic!

I will be flying to Cyprus in 2 weeks, I will be taking prescribed medication as well as a vital medication I buy privately (sort of homeopathic, not illegal anywhere, for a common condition, not a painkiller.)

My prescribed meds will be in their original boxes, with prescription labels on them. The privately bought medication will be in it's original jar in original box. I will only be bringing enough for the trip (approx 20 pills).

I won't be bringing any painkillers, opioids etc.

Will they let that through?

I haven't travelled since being ill so I'm confused!

I'm travelling with gatwick who suggest prescription labels on boxes OR a note from GP. The issue is my practice charges a lot for this note, and if I don't need it I'd rather not pay <£60.

The Gov website say you don't need proof for meds in pill form.

I will most likely request a physical copy of my prescription but that doesn't list the privately bought meds.

Conflicting advice for a non-experienced traveller!

TIA x

Just to add, I could request a full print out of medical records for free, would that be needed?
