It's been donated to sell for charity, not sure how to market it? Any ideas? There's hallmarks that look like GS&CO, an anchor, a crown and an M. From what I gather that might mean it was made in Birmingham. The pad is suede. It's about 7-8" in length.

That is for shining nails if small enough a nail buffer or if bigger for shining something else 😂

AutumnCrow · 01/11/2023 13:24

It's designed to look like a cleat

Edit: typo

Is it a wood block thing for sewing?

EducatingArti · 01/11/2023 13:26

Is it a clothes brush? For removing lint and hair from coats/jackets etc?

Whiskeypowers · 01/11/2023 13:26

There is one on Etsy advertised as a vintage nail buffer for £26

StopPissingMeOff · 01/11/2023 13:27

Nail buffer. My mum has one the same!

TicTacNicNak · 01/11/2023 13:28

Yep, a nail buffer

AdaColeman · 01/11/2023 13:29

It's a nail buffer for doing French manicures.

With a little research, you will be able to trace the maker and the year from the hallmarks.
