I'm going to be visiting Manchester and haven't been for a very long time. I like 90's bands and probably what you would call retro stuff! I've googled but cannot find a music museum.

Please can you give me suggestions of where to visit, shops, bars, museums anything! Thanks

Afflecks is an emporium of eclecticism, a totem of indie commerce in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

Night and Day. Northern Quarter.
Apparently Afflecks isn't what it once was anymore, but I was never much of a fan.

The Pump House People's History Museum.

Salford Museum and Art Gallery - a short hop out to Salford Crescent station by train or catch a bus. Has Lark Hill Place, a recreated old street. Free on Thursdays and Sundays.
