Hi, I have a Facebook business account, well I did have: The account has been 'hacked" and has disappeared off the face of the earth.
I can't find a phone number for Facebook but have been on their help page - there are step by step instructions on how to recover an account but you also have to be logged into this account to be able to recover it 🤔
This is impossible for me to do as it's no longer there!
Any help/advice gratefully appreciated!

Should say "Any" Facebook Experts 😊

I’m so sorry. As a marketer, I have been bitterly saying for years that Facebook is held together by sellotape when you peek behind the curtain and use it for business purposes. I would keep trying to dig and dig until you find some kind of chat or form you can send but I’d probably set up a new page and start rebuilding your audience.

It absolutely sucks but they have made themselves incontactable because, in my opinion, they know they would never be able to fix any of these problems.

Thanks Moonseas - I know I'm no expert but am competent enough to follow their instructions if they are relevant, but it's so frustrating that there is no option for my problem! It's taken a lot of hard work to build up even a small following and the thought of having to start from scratch is soul destroying.
I don't know 'who' has taken the page or what they are doing with it, which is also a concern.

Yep, I’ve always found their Help platform to be a weird time loop, linking back through the same circular articles. If you can’t actually complete the instructions, there’s no fallback method.

What happens if you Google your brand’s FB page? What happens if an friend tries to find it in Facebook? Is it completely gone? (Ie it says something like ‘This page does not exist’)?

Also a business page can only be accessed by a personal login - so does that mean they logged into your account first?

Sorry if these are obvious - just trying to understand/rule anything out.

And I’m sure you already have but definitely change your password and add 2 factor authentication to the login that’s tied to your business page while you’re working it all out.
