School closures due to weather forecast this week

Just south of London, my school has just announced it is closing for the rest of the week. This is partly due to the only access to the school being along a treelined road.

Has anyone else got school closures? where?

Seems extreme to close tomorrow, I can understand Thursday though.

I think it is in case children can't get home safely in the evening

How south is just south?! South coast I can understand not so much just south of London.

I have cancelled a work trip to Bath on Thursday from SE London but that is mainly because SE are shit and will have issues with a couple of leaves on the line and I want to get home.

Our school is on a big hill on the SW coast and I'm expecting them to stay open, or at least they'll do their best. I'm surprised that a London school is closing? If shit really hits the fan then the teachers might not be able to drive in but I expect we'll find out Thursday morning if there's an issue.
