Do i need new burglar alarm after landline changed to wifi

Landline has been changed to wifi which has resulted in our burglar alarm not working and we have been told it needs replacing to work with new landlines. Have others experienced this?

Yes sounds about right if its an older system. Some systems might be able to be altered but most likely replacement.

Yes. Cost a bit to have it changed, although we did negotiate.
