My lovely garden, and on occasion the weird antics of people - people will do some strange things. 🙃

CeeJay81 · 31/10/2023 10:04

Roof tops, hills, birds, Sometimes the odd cat and currently rain. Its a one way street, so little traffic. On the edge of a tiny rural town in the hills, in Wales.

Applebeard · 31/10/2023 10:04

The Lake District fells in one direction, woodland in the other.

I am very, very lucky.

KnittedCardi · 31/10/2023 10:17

The red kites hunting in the field opposite. The sheep that are living there for a while. The changing seasons of the fields, and hedge rows, and trees, the cycles of the year, planting, cutting, harvesting, re-seeding.

VeridicalVagabond · 31/10/2023 10:38

There's usually a flock of sheep in the field behind my house which I quite enjoy watching. They don't do much but they're peaceful.

longtompot · 31/10/2023 17:51

The birds in the garden and what they get up to be it eating, dust bathing, hanging out in the tree. I especially love it when it's a variety that doesn't come often like the blue tits or the goldfinches
The sky
Sunsets
The cat especially when she is in a playful mood and is charging about the place
The bats at dusk
Who is using our drive to turn round tuttuttut
Just generally watching the garden change with the seasons

Throwawayme · 31/10/2023 17:54

I love looking out the window of my old bedroom at my mum's. The view is nothing special but it takes me back to being young 😂

GettingSickOfYourNonsense · 31/10/2023 17:55

I can see fields from my living room window. From the kitchen, 3 squirrels during the day, and a fox (if I happen to be awake at about 3am)

romdowa · 31/10/2023 17:56

Boats , birds and the occasional seal in the river

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 31/10/2023 17:56

Houses, trees, squirrels, the occasional fox, birds (blooming parakeets, mostly) and the basement flat's cat.

shamoola · 31/10/2023 17:59

In the horizon to one side is Canary Wharf to the other is the City and the Shard.

Looks pretty cool!

I can see the sea. Sunrise to my left sunset to my right

Same

SomeInternetUser · 31/10/2023 18:01

Trees, squirrels, planes and flowers

CatOnAHotShedRoof · 31/10/2023 18:04

Woodland and the sea in the distance.

cptartapp · 31/10/2023 18:05

Fields to four sides. Horses at the back, sheep at the front.
The next door neighbour's teens brawling on the front drive.

17CherryTreeLane · 31/10/2023 18:13

A river out the front window, sometimes deer, often river wildlife. Out the back I see a castle :)

ElleCapitaine · 31/10/2023 18:15

Dinosaurs.

Howmanysleepsnow · 31/10/2023 18:16

No beautiful scenery here! But I like watching the birds in the garden, and the squirrel. Love the rare view of the city covered in snow once or twice a year. Like watching the kids on our street playing out together- they’re all lovely. Love watching firework displays across the city on NYE and bonfire night, and twinkling Christmas lights in December.

LaurieFairyCake · 31/10/2023 18:17

Canary Wharf buildings, the Shard, the London Eye

LadyMargaretDevereux · 31/10/2023 18:20

I like watching my dog stroll into the garden first thing and just stand there, sniffing the air, taking it all in.

momager1 · 31/10/2023 18:31

Yesterday it was this beauty.

what do you enjoy looking at out of your windows?
MyCircumference · 31/10/2023 21:37

when i am at work i can see swans, geese, ducks, they particularly love the puddles

Nachtvlinder · 31/10/2023 23:32

I don't care for the view of other terraced houses as everyone can see each other's spaces. I love it when my washing is out on the line (always have done since having my daughter 30 years ago when I had her cloth nappies and babygros and vests!) When I hung it out, I stand back to admire it, then from the kitchen window and then upstairs from my bedroom window for another angle view. I love it especially when it's windy to see the clothes ebb and flow! Weird me!

I have garden plants/shrubs/trees that change with the seasons with its colours and seeing them bloom. I chart my successess/failures/progress in a diary.

Love it when it rains especially if it's chucking it down and see puddles on next door's flat roof and wondering one day it'll be leaking and it'll have to be replaced. Although, not so happy with all this relentless rain we've been getting in The Midlands. I'll be planting out my garlic soon, so want it dry one day!

Also, my cat likes to look out the bedroom windows. Out the front, he'll be on the windowsill and I'm wondering how long he's going to stay there - is he waiting for something/someone/some animal to come along, maybe a fox or another cat or dog and its walker?

Sometimes, when said cat is asleep on my bed and I notice a squirrel or another cat in my garden, I try to get cat to go to the window but they ignore me, sadly. I just want him to get some entertainment as I'm sure they're quite bored, hence sleeping all day!

HiGunny · 31/10/2023 23:47

A family of buzzards that glide along effortlessly on updrafts. Love watching them - they come really low sometimes and their wingspan is just enormous.
My son doing backflips in some imaginary game on the trampoline.
And this year...wasps. Still going strong at the end of October. Hate them really but admiring their industriousness this year stripping the wood off my fence.

Seeleyboo · 31/10/2023 23:57

I live opposite a mountain. Beautiful.
