Lights in windows at dusk

I live quite high up and I can see the whole of my town, football stadium made famous by Hollywood, plus fields, some Hills beyond and some landmarks in Shropshire. It’s lovely

Bogeyes · 31/10/2023 01:15

My scummy neighbors going away in their caravan.

Giggorata · 31/10/2023 01:16

The Moon.

Napalm

Our clothes drying on the line, for some reason it makes me happy. Also the huge pine trees.

mathanxiety · 31/10/2023 01:46

The trees.
The sky.
Hummingbirds at the feeder in summer.
Squirrels dicing with death in the spindliest branches.

Once lived in a village. They local church put through a parish magazine with a “view from my window” feature each month. Always some retired well off people talking about their incredible views over the hills in the distance, the local landmarks etc. I wanted to do one for us which was
hacked at leylandii conifers that have been butchered by the neighbours on all sides, none of them are ours
a dog shit bin on the lamppost opposite complete with overflowing black sacks of shit on the ground.
Glad we moved!

Not sure I can cope with this amount of detail ...

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 31/10/2023 02:07

The Northern Lights

DiscoBeat · 31/10/2023 02:09

From the back, the enormous elm tree in our garden. Or sheep at the front.

MyCircumference · 31/10/2023 06:10

the garden, the birds were having a bath in their water bowl yesterday and so many of them were on the fat ball feeder

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 31/10/2023 06:16

Deer 🦌 in my garden.

oldestmumaintheworld · 31/10/2023 06:31

The tops of trees, Sadlers Wells, the BT tower and more trees. Central London has a lot more trees than you'd think.

Wolfen · 31/10/2023 06:34

I have a bird feeder and birdbath in my garden so we get lots of birds.
Get lots of cats, foxes and squirrels too.
I hate the foxes so much. Beautiful to look at, but they crap everywhere and do it more out of spite every time you clean it up.

WonderingWanda · 31/10/2023 06:47

I have a beautiful view of a wooded hillside. I enjoy watching birds of prey and other wildlife. I especially love the trees and how they change with the seasons.

221BBakerSt · 31/10/2023 06:52

My garden and then the Atlantic. I can stand for hours watching. Also have enormous skyscape so lots of stars to watch at night.

Catsmere · 31/10/2023 06:54

Flowering bushes, the community lawn and the units across from them.

thebabessavedme · 31/10/2023 07:06

We are pretty high up, I love watching the birds land on the church roof opposite, they always all sit and look in the same direction and never mix, so pigeons at one end, gulls at the other, proper gang behaviour Grin

Xiaoxiong · 31/10/2023 07:07

A really old church and surrounding buildings. I find it comforting when the world feels hopeless sometimes to think how old they are and they're still standing and in daily use. I also love the sunrise, my bedroom faces east.

StEtienne93 · 31/10/2023 07:09

I'm in a city, so it's just houses. However, on the spring there is a particularly nice tree, that has a pleasing shape, opposite my hoise.

AlwaysPrettyOnTheInside · 31/10/2023 07:19

Electrical storms over the sea.

Cluelessbutmeanswell · 31/10/2023 07:20

I enjoy a nose, seeing what people are up to.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 31/10/2023 07:31

Can't see much out of my front window other than the opposite side of the street! At the back, my garden (a courtyard, really) is tiny but full of greenery, so I quite like looking at that.

I've made the inside of my home lovely with plants and artwork, so I'm happier looking inside than out!

PinkflowersWhiteBerries · 31/10/2023 07:34

Trees, dog walkers , birds, delivery vans…
