I’ve done this at least three times this month.

Every year

I did the same thing, I bought a multipack of sweets which contained 18 little bags of Haribo and ate them all myself, my kids didn't even get any. In my defense, one bag was used as an emergency snack during a hypo but I'm still very annoyed at myself.
Will have to visit the shop again tomorrow to restock

Well we bought one the other year and I ended up eating most of them because we were out for dinner on Halloween. It was bliss but I've not bought any since.

I got wise to myself after last year's debacle, and bought mini haribo bags instead of malteasers etc. I haven't even been tempted!

We learned our lesson years ago, none of the packages get opened until we are setting up to start handing out.

I have already bought and eaten four nets of Christmas chocolate coins!

Yea I bought a swizzels tub. I lasted 3 days before I caved and ate all the ones I like, intending on replacing it. There were none left in the shops I went in today...

We don't get TOT's as we're very rural and only neighbours don't celebrate Halloween. But I still bought many many bags and boxes of sweets and chocolates 'just in case'. If we have any surprise visitors tomorrow I'll have to ask for tricks, there are no treats to be seen

I’m on a diet so have bought sweets that won’t tempt me.

Poor kids. Last year they had fun size backs of Maltesers and Twix, this year it’s Wham bars and Haribo.

My friends SIL has had to resort to getting me to buy the advent calendars & chocolate coins 'she' gets the kids for Christmas or else she replaces them far too many times before she gives them to the kids.

weirdly if the chocolates/sweets are for others they don't tempt me at all.

im no Saint, no self control required, they just don't call to me.

We bought mini Haribo bags today, I’ve only had 1. The Quality Street I stashed away for Christmas is another story 🤦‍♀️

Glad it’s not just me! I didn’t think to buy something unappealing. Next year I will do better. That was a LOT of chocolate in two days!

DH put all the sweets on a high shelf that I can't reach. He's flying out tomorrow so he'd better remember to get the down before he goes.

I buy Reese’s peanut butter cups because I don’t find them tempting at all and if I don’t get any kids knocking (happens a lot!) then DS eats them because he loves them!

However I also usually buy something nut free last minute just in case.

I’ve already eaten two boxes of Godiva chocolate that I bought for Christmas presents 😭

Ah, but have you ever (as a drunken 20 year old - long time ago!) opened a box of chocolates from under the Christmas tree - that you wrapped as a gift for someone else - and eaten them?! 😭😂

I don’t care for peanut butter, so this is an easy one for me! Probably the only chocolatey thing I can resist unfortunately!
