I actually think a pepper gives a better "glow".

Does your DP have special carving tools @Soubriquet? DS used Lino cutters this year - I used a cookie cutter and a hammer for the hearts - I was pretty smug about that!!

I used to print off print off patterns online , I'm not arty

My 15-y-o did this - apparently this smiling demon in a suit & tie represents 'the generic face of politics' which is truly terrifying!

My 4 year old grandson is currently obsessed about sea creatures so when his (very talented mummy IMO) asked what did he want for his pumpkin he asked for this

She bought a kit from Amazon rather than the cheaper ones you buy from the supermarket so yeah she has good tools which helped
