Pjs for 11 year old? Ladies size 8? Equivalent to what size in kids

Dd 11 is tall. 5ft 5 And developed so kids pjs never fit properly currently has m&s age 15. Which fit ok. However she says they are 'babyish'

So was looking at ladies ones. More plain style. Would it be approx the 8/10 ladies size? Maybe if cuffed bottoms so not too long?

I'd say that's about right.

Age 16 is equivalent to a 12 so should be ok with a 10

If she’s 5’5, then she’s taller than a lot of adults. If she’s slim 8 will be biggish

M&S also do an XS which I think is what I got my dd who is shorter than yours

M&S age 15 is pretty generous - you can compare size charts but from memory I think it's about a adult 10 rather than 8. Bare in mind M&S is cut for a more middle aged frame than say New Look or H&M. Waist sizes tend to be bigger etc.

I buy size 8/10 for my tall, well-developed 10 year old who otherwise would wear age 15 clothes.

My DD who fits in age 12 on waist is a size 4 in ladies (or XS)

Its usually arm length that's the problem... a bit long!

Try Next PJs, age 13 is size 8 and so on

I'm at 8/10 and wear a kids age 13/14 sometimes. I'd say try a ladies 12?

My 10 year old wears a ladies size 8 (in 11-12 boys clothes, so no curves). i would go for a 12

Primark have everything. They have everything from Disney to patterned sets for adults.

Look at her waist size and then get the appropriate size. She’s a normal female height.

XS. I know cos my niece is similar. At 11 I bought her xs in women’s sizes

Age 15-16 in M&S is likely to be a size 10 or 12, unless you shop in M&S.

Thank you. Gone for a ladies 8 to 10. Shes average build not skinny. But a B cup up top so the m&s 15 to 16 ones make her conscious of showing. Thank you for your help
