Not snotty, coughing or feverish. But my whole body feels infected. Headache and exhaustion, can't get out of bed. Face ache. Anxiety. Nasty virus

I've had it for over a week, the cold symptoms/tiredness/aches are bad but probably the worst seems to be the mood. I am in such a bad mood and I can't shake it at all. I feel so annoyed, every email from idiots at work makes me want to scream and rant and tell them to just fuck off, then fuck off some more. Usually I can find humour in peoples randomness but it's all just rage at the moment.

Sorry you're all so ill, it's horrid and affects every part of the body. All you can do is rest and ride it out as best you can Flowers

Sorry to hear you are unwell OP. I had itbrecently- first time- been living like a recluse to avoid it. I felt odd,nauseous and like someone was standing on my head. Rest.

It is horrid. I had aches, chills at night, nausea, a bit of a cold and a hideous sinus headache. Then on about day 5 when I thought that I was perking up the fatigue really hit. Three weeks on and I'm still pretty wiped out.

@CyberCritical

Ooh, interesting. I too have suffered with this. I don't feel angry, but I'm usually such a people pleaser. Now I could happily stand my corner and not get upset. I think that I don't have the mental or physical energy to spend on dealing with crap. I definitely feel more feisty and can't be arsed. I rather like the feeling to be honest.

I was properly ill for two weeks ,it was awful. I never thought I'd recover. It's taken a month to get back to feeling back to normal. Rest and drink loads,don't push yourself or you'll end up with bigger problems like long covid. The school will cope ,they always do and I say that as a former teacher. Your health comes first .
