Will this look silly. New kitchen related

We are getting a new kitchen from Homebase, we have our plan done and we are happy with the location of things but we have realised that the units will finish just short (25cm) short of the door frame on the kitchen. My question is, will this look stupid ? Is the kitchen supposed to end right up to the door frame if there is a door frame there? I understand that if the units where only coming half way it wouldn't look as bad but is 25cm to small of a gap and will look silly?

Definitely teatowels, oven glove, hanging space for spare trivets. Stuff you need next to the oven! Although do you want ovens next to a doorway? Are people liable to come in and out while the ovens are open?

Won’t look silly, but we have a 150mm pull out and it is great for oils, vinegars, soy sauce etc - easy to get to, no trying to reach back over everything else in the cupboard to get to the bottles. We use a lot of condiments in cooking though.

This might be the solution!

If you run up to the door frame will it mean your door bangs on it?

If not is this a place your bin could go, I see some lovely kitchens with bins in very odd places.

If you have a place I'd look to add some shelves for cook books or nice jugs (I have too many nice jugs, apparently).

So it's basically a back wall and on this wall we will have a tall larder, American fridge, then our oven stack. Our utility door is on the same wall beside where the oven will be but it opens into the utility room.

Do you have somewhere to hang oven gloves near the ovens? If not then I'd be putting some hooks there.
My kitchen bugbear is not having a little bit of wall space suitable to hang an apron from. If I don't wear one I get holes in all my t-shirts.
