A halfway house between hospital
And being at home?
I presume any such facility that exists would be private
I can find stuff for mental health and rehab stuff but not general surgery which is what may be needed

Hospital sometimes organise rehabilitation, often at cottage hospitals. It depends on whether it is deemed likely that they will benefit from it.
An alternative would be a nursing home; it is common for patients to be admitted for 2-4 weeks to get back on their feet after an event.
If you are looking to see if there is likely to be financial support for this sort of thing you can approach social services. They might also be useful for advice likewise Age Concern if it is for an elderly person.

Nottingham do. Otherwise you can go into a care home for convalescence. Some do short term stays.

Over in Northern Ireland it’s proving impossible to find anything 🤯
It’s very worrying because it’s so necessary and even private in Northern Ireland / there seems to be no where
