Tell me what your perfect weekend looks like. I'm finding it hard to get a balance - I'm on Mat Leave and have a 2.5yo and 6 month year old so usually look forward to weekends as a chance to get out and go outside as it's much easier with my husband there. Nothing major, just a nice park or garden center, or somewhere slightly further away from home where my 2 yo can burn off some energy. My husband however just started a new job and commutes long hours and wants to spend the weekend at home, cooking nice food and watching TV and sleeping. This weekend we went on a pumpkin hunt, had a nice coffee, went to a Christening.... We were out for a couple of hours on Saturday and all day on Sunday as the Christening was a 1.5 hour drive away...good for me but I think my hubby found it awful. What's your perfect weekend? Do you tend to spend lots of money doing stuff. Does booking things in advance/planning what to do help? When do you plan what to do/how long do you take to decide? For those with young kids how much time do you give to your other half to sleep/watch TV/do their own thing and how much time doing stuff together...Tell me your top tips...
