Nightmares every night on setraline

I've been taking it a few hours before bed in order to hopefully sleep through any potential side effects, which I think is causing the problem.
Pretty much every night I've either had very vivid dreams involving colleagues and so on or terrible nightmares, last night I had a dream about seeing the ghost of my grandmother who's died, it was terrible. They always feel so real.
Has anyone else found this with antidepressants? I am just going to start taking them earlier in the day and hoping it improves things.

I was the same, used to take it in the morning but the nausea etc was horrible, so switched to bedtime to avoid and ended up suffering disturbed sleep. I now take it at 7pm (I'm rarely asleep before 11pm). It doesn't take long for the side effects to wear off, hopefully it'll be quick for you and you can start to feel better x

Thanks a lot, I'll try to take it a bit earlier, glad to hear you're feeling better!
