pre-op 29/12- when to expect actual op?

Morning - just as it says really!
I had the pre op letter a few weeks ago so thought the op date one would have followed on, but nothing yet.
Assuming it will be 2-3 weeks afterwards? Shall i just ring? Never had an op before so this is new ground.....

Yes, I’d say around 2 weeks.

I’d say a week to 2 weeks later.

I was due my pre-op 30/12 but had no surgery date, the consultants secretary rang me the day before to book me in for surgery on 26th Feb and said pre-op has to be within 8 weeks of this date so we changed the pre-op date to 23rd Jan.
