Can anyone identify the bug please?

I’m finding one a day, or one every other day, climbing up the kitchen wall. It’s a few mm long. Thank you!

I think it's a woolly bear/carpet beetle.

Oh really? That’s interesting as we did have some carpet beetles over the summer in the bedrooms. I had to use Indorex in the end to get rid of them.

So are these hatching from eggs that were left behind?! I don’t really want to use Indorex in the kitchen…. 🤨

I wonder why they’re on a certain wall in the kitchen? It’s vinyl tile! And no pets…

Another vote for carpet beetle.

It might be an idea to have a clear out of your food cupboards. Just to make sure.

Yep, woolly bear larva. I get them here. I don't think they're dangerous at all.

Thank you for the tips, how do I get rid of them? Have cleaned out all the food cupboards and everything is sparkling. The wall they are climbing up is the back wall of the house. No cupboards attached to that wall.
