As a child in the 90s/early 00s I had a book of fairy stories, there were three (I think) fairies sewing pearls on the fairy queens dress and as they worked they told stories, each chapter of the book was a different story (I probably haven't explained that very well)

There was another book with a similar pink cover so I assume part of the same series, that was just bedtime stories. One of these books definitely had a story about a poor widowed father who lives in a pumpkin and marries a really nasty woman, somehow they acquire some wishes and she keeps wishing for nicer and nicer houses and eventually live in a mansion, until they lose everything and end up back in the pumpkin. Moral of the story is about being grateful for what you have. I can't remember whether that was in the fairy stories book or the other one, sorry.

Last one - not a story book, an interactive type book. One page is the kitchen and there's a picture of a washing machine. The door is a flap you can open and there were little paper clothes you could slot into the machine. The detergent drawer also pulled out. There was another page with little paper weeds and a paper trowel and you could pull out the weeds.

I've asked my mum about this and she said she can still picture the washing/gardening one but has no idea what it was called

I'd love to find copies for my DDs so would be very grateful for any help please and thank you 😊
