What will you do with your extra hour?!

Me: take dog for a walk even earlier, I expect.

I will reset my clock when I go to bed so will ‘waste’ my extra hour being asleep!

ChicagoBears · 28/10/2023 19:31

Thanks for the reminder, an extra hour of blissful lazing tomorrow for us as we have Halloween parties galore tomorrow afternoon so a nice mooch in the morning is on the cards; fresh bagels and croissants and real coffee.

AnyFucker · 28/10/2023 19:31

Lie awake for an extra hour

Surroundedbyfools · 28/10/2023 19:37

No doubt be up at the arse crack of dawn with my toddler and newborn with my eyes hanging out my head with exhaustion! Can’t wait !

Costalife · 28/10/2023 19:40

Sleep 💤😴

Delatron · 28/10/2023 20:18

Have my body clock disrupted for the week. Joyful.

Whiskers4 · 28/10/2023 21:00

Hoping I'll stay asleep a bit longer - I need to wake up at 6am for work. In reality, I'll wake up earlier worrying in case the clocks have been set the wrong way!

bakewellbride · 28/10/2023 21:02

I have young kids so not looking forward to wake ups etc being buggered!

TryAgainWithFeeling · 28/10/2023 21:03

Luckily tomorrow is husband’s turn to wake up with the kids, and mine to have the 9am lie in, so I get the extra hour!

Summermeadowflowers · 28/10/2023 21:07

I really hope it doesn’t wreck DS (nearly 3) sleep. He was terrible for early wake-up’s - often between 5-530 and it was a killer. Recently has settled and we’ve had some lie ins until a hitherto unheard of nearly 8am, but mostly it’s been around 7. Worried we’re going to go back to horrendous pitch black half asleep 5am starts with a baby in the mix as well!

vodkaredbullgirl · 28/10/2023 21:08

Night shift 😫

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 29/10/2023 07:42

Ha my baby woke me up an hour early!

RabbitsRock · 29/10/2023 07:48

With you on that Delatron - hate it

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 29/10/2023 08:07

I woke up at 6. Dozed for a bit then up making coffee and 7. I was up before my kid! She's 10 though lol

bullseyeboat · 29/10/2023 08:10

I slept through it, I thought most people did tbh, obviously there are many exceptions but for the majority who are not ordinarily up all/part of the night, wouldn't you just sleep?

Delatron · 29/10/2023 08:34

Well you’d wake up a bit earlier than normal on the new time then probably struggle to get to sleep at your normal time tonight. If you’re a bad sleeper anything that messes with your body clock isn’t great.
