Bedroom decor inspo please!

I'm having my bedroom decorated soon and need some inspiration - Pinterest isn’t coming up with the goods! I can’t afford to change the grey carpet and I also have a grey bed base/headboard which can’t be replaced. I’m thinking pale cream walls as I’m over the completely grey trend, but also want to inject a bit of colour as it’s a slightly drab north facing room. I really like a pale sage green but don’t know if that will work with grey? Any other suggestions? DH has vetoed my dusky pink idea 😂

Mustard looks good with grey, teal or orange also work. I think pale sage could look drab.

Thank you @GalileoHumpkins

Forgot to say I’ve had mustard before! I like teal but that’s quite a cold colour. Some of the sage greens I’ve looked at are quite cosy - just wondering if it will ‘go’

I think it goes really well and maybe you could pull in small amounts of another colour to lift it.

The other colour to lift it is your pink. He won’t mind if it’s just a nod here and there. Our master is peignoir as is the ensuite. Colour drenched. 😊 Luckily DH doesn’t care so I can have all the pink I want. It’s mucky pink so it’s easy to get away with! It would certainly work with grey and sage.

I'm in the process of moving and about to decorate my bedroom. It currently has grey carpets and we have a charcoal bed.

I've gone for www.littlegreene.com/deep-space-blue to add a bit of colour. This is on the wall my bed is against. The rest I've gone for a slight off white colour.

Haven't painted it yet but the sample I put on the wall looks good.

I'm going to get accent cushions to match and stick with neutral bedding. My furniture is all white
