Do the new universal credit 30 hour rule include lunch breaks?

I'm not on UC yet, but I have seen that there is a new rule where you have to work or do work related activities for 30 hours if your youngest is between 3-12yr and 35 hours if your youngest is over 12yr.

Does it mean a 30 hour work week, which would be 25hrs paid 5 hours unpaid lunch. Or a 35 hour work, 30 hours paid 5 hours unpaid lunch.

The same for over 12 years, would that be a 40 hour week 35 paid, 5 hours unpaid lunch?

It's income not hours so minimum wage x 30 hour earnings. The actual hours worked are irrelevant.

OK thank you, so if you earn over minimum wage the hours could be less that 30?

They need to make employers give out these sort of contracts. I work in retail and I have a 25 hour contract and that is like hens teeth in my company unless you're management . We have a lot of ppl on 6 hr , 10 hrs, 15 hours max . And I see it all the time on indeed most of the Jobs the contracts don't reflect the new rules so what are people supposed to do not everyone has qualifications or the money to go and get them.
