Tell me your favourite(s) and reasons why please!

Mykonos is my favourite. Have never seen a town like it. But avoid in July and August, it's crazy busy.

Corfu.

It's so green, and beautiful. It's a much more gentle climate.

Kefalonia! So beautiful and so peaceful.

Skopelos is beautiful though a hire car would be useful to get around - the bus was really infrequent when we went - we liked Skiathos too great swimming but the town was beautiful but very touristy - I’m sure if you go further out on the island it would be amazing too

Syros, specifically the town on Galissas which is just beautiful. Unspoiled, have been going since a child in the 80s and now take my child. Dream is to retire there. Car/motorbike hire for exploring the island although there are regular buses and such.

I lived in Greece for a year when I first started teaching many moons ago and went to Syros for a holiday. I don't remember it very well but you've reminded me to look it up again.

What do you like doing? If beach and pretty then some will be more suited. Pebble, sand or rocks?
if visiting historic sites you won’t want Kefalonia as all was destroyed.

We're just back from Skiathos, very green and beautiful but very small. Lovely beaches, hiking and water sports. Very busy. Five days was enough.
