Window cleaning ?

I've just read a post about getting windows cleaned every 6 weeks, & it got me thinking.
I've never cleaned the outside of windows, they never get dirty. Not even when I lived on a main road in London.
I clean the inside of the kitchen window occasionally, as it does get mucky.
Since I divorced a smoker, no other windows get dirty.
Why is it necessary?

If you suddenly did get an outside window clean, trust me when I say you definitely would notice a difference

They certainly do get dirty. Give it a go. Things will look a lot brighter. I washed my retired boss's windows last weekend because he and his wife don't like winter, aren't up to doing it themselves, and I owe them a favour. Neither has ever washed a window and were both raving about the difference when I left.

Of course they get dirty. You just don't notice it because you are so used to it. You would see a huge difference if you suddenly washed the windows after years if not doing so.
