I was expecting the press to be all over Britneys book. Maybe not to the extent they were with Harry's, but I think expected her to have dropped some big bombshells. I've heard about the abortion and what she said Justin was like. I thought especially the uk press to have been all over it.

I'm reading this at the moment. I felt sorry for her about the whole conservatorship but as I'm reading it things don't add up. She claims to have been so tightly controlled that she could barely go to the loo without people knowing but at the same time was "allowed" boyfriends etc. She minimises how sick she was/is I think in the book or maybe can't actually see it? Not saying the conservatorship was right - her family sound awful but I definitely feel there's a lot of lies from both sides.

No one else reading it?

I suspect some sections of the press are aware that there's a lot more to all of this than meets the eye/has yet come out, and don't want to rush to judgement in print. Britney is clearly a very troubled soul, and the whole thing is probably a legal minefield.

She is clearly very muddled up. Keeps talking about herself as a little girl and her tiny body etc. You're a grown ass woman.

I've read it, it's very vague and glosses over a lot so there are no major revelations that we didn't already know about really

I think she shot to fame too young and wasn't able to handle everything that came with it.

Her family don't seem to have her best interests at heart either, just keeping an eye on her money making potential, treating her like a cash cow pretty much.

She does contradict herself a bit making out she was always such a good girl and people pleaser whilst drinking with her mum from 13 and having sex from 14.

Although I'm finding her writing is quite articulate and shows some self-awareness. Obviously, it's just her side of the story though.
