Girls day out in London ideas

Hi ladies - I’m turning 30 in December and I wanted to take my two best friends for a day out in London to celebrate but I’m drawing a blank on what to do ! Does anyone have any recommendations ? Budget for an activity would be about £200.

I’m teetotal so would ideally avoid anything like cocktail making & I love an afternoon tea but one of my friends has just lost a lot of weight so I don’t know if she would want to do something like that.

Also as December is always a nightmare for everyone I would probably be looking to do something in Jan or Feb.

How about a play or show? Spa day at a hotel? Or in the Docklands there's an adult funfair?

The Seven Dials food market is lovely for lunch on-the-go.
There are so many possibilities. You need to think broadly what you want to do and then search. Do you want a touristy day? Shopping and cream tea? Concert, museums, see a show, something themed like Harry Potter? Go on a boat in the Thames, a murder mystery, escape room?

See a West End show.

Drinks at The Shard for a spectacular view.

Sky Garden for meal and a view.

Meal at Skylon restaurant Royal festival hall, view and food is fabulous, and you can enjoy a walk along the southbank with all the sights in view one after another.

Take a boat ride along the Thames for a quick pass of all the sights if time is short, the Thames Uber clipper is very reasonably priced and a comfy ride and you’re allowed to take drinks onboard or buy from the bar.

One of the many great sushi place for those on a diet.

What about an afternoon tea on a London tour bus? We did this recently and whilst they offered Prosecco it wasn't a prominent part of it. The food it's self is only small so I'm sure your friend wouldn't feel obliged to eat it if didn't want to. It was about an hour and a half and a nice way to see the London sights and just a bit different.

Shoreditch do great escape rooms! A show is always a perfect choice, so many to choose from. Beautiful museums depending what you're all into, brunches or lunches. Go on the London Eye together or a Thames tour together, they're great! Have fun 😊

I love aire roman spa baths, I find the massage average and expensive so I just go for the facilities which I adore, it's £115, easily there 2.5 hours. No booze (I don't drink) just nice tea and swimming pools!
