I suppose it's ageist to really dislike the new Duran Duran and Madness singles?

Both are being plugged a lot on Radio 2 at the moment. I honestly think "why did they bother?" they are both re-hashed versions of their old hits from 30+ years ago.

I am the same age as these performers and I hate ageism, but musically this output is just a bit shite and they should have done better or not bothered. That's my honest opinion. It pains me to say it because I bloody love Suggs.

Why would it be ageist? You're saying you don't like it because you think it's unoriginal, not because the performers are old.

I don’t like them because I just don’t like them. Nothing to do with their, or my, age. I don’t like the Take Thst one either.

Ageism has bog all to do with it. You don't have to like things simply because the age of the person producing it is above an arbitrary number.
