Hi .

I just need a little bit of guidance on this Matter I live in Scotland!

Recently I was in getting my hair done in the hairdressers and the girl doing my hair was telling me there was a rented flat a cross from the salon that girls were in changing shift and so on. Men were going in with appointments and having sex with these girls for money it’s flats and their children and mothers in these flats about these people that don’t have a clue is this legal? And are people aloud to just rent a house and use girls to earn money for men to go in and have sex with them.

there’s All types of women going in! Ukraine Romanian Scottish Asian blonde hair brown hair black transgender and so on?

would would you do in this situation let them be or contact the authorities I just feel so sad for these girls

Report it to the police - simple as that

Kayte198999 · 26/10/2023 15:10

I think the people who live there probably do know that it's happening. Yes I would report to the police and probably the council too. But how does the hairdresser know that men are having sex with the girls?

Lovelyjubbbly · 26/10/2023 15:23

@Kayte198999 because there a shop next door to the hairdressers and the man son is a taxi driver and drops the men to and back to this house . Also the hairdresser has seen these men and women outside the house the men go in for around 20/25 min then leave again then different men go in and so on my hairdresser isn’t reporting it as she’s quite scared incase there’s and trouble and she doesn’t want find out that it was.

Report to police. This might be modern slavery.

The Crime stoppers website is anonymous.

LakeTiticaca · 26/10/2023 17:18

Sounds like human trafficking. Report to the police although they could already be under surveillance

SoddingWeddings · 26/10/2023 17:29

If the women are organising it themselves, it's all legal as long as they are working in separate flats etc.

If the women are being managed by a Controller, probably illegal.

If the women are being trafficked, definitely illegal.

Please report it - if it's legal, they'll be given safety advice and that'll be the end of it.

Lovelyjubbbly · 26/10/2023 19:58

It definitely seems like they are getting told to do this doesn’t seem normal at all the flat windows are completely shut off with weird looking curtains. I think I’ll report this anonymously as I don’t anyone to know it’s me incase it comes back to me 😣

I’d report it. There was one behind my auntie’s house (in a very posh bit of her town which she was disgusted about!) and there was one above my local sub-post office until recently. They pop up using short leases, get raided, get fined, and then pop up somewhere else. They like using places close to things like hairdressers or shops as people can come and go without being noticed too easily.

Lovelyjubbbly · 27/10/2023 07:30

@PauliesWalnuts I’m just so shocked it’s so sad that it’s reality.

I think I’ll report it today I just don’t want anything coming back to me

There's no harm in reporting it to the Police, it won't do any harm and it may help the women. If they're being forced into, there will be help for them. You don't need to give your name when you phone.

icebearforpresident · 27/10/2023 08:26

From a legal point of view, if the flat is rented and assuming the landlord doesn’t know about and is letting it happen, it then it’s a breach of tenancy and one of the few reasons that they can be given notice to leave (I’m a Scottish EA and deal with leases as well). Under Scottish leases one of the reasons notice can be given where the tenants are engaged in illegal activity at the property, which obviously this is. Do you know if it was rented through an agency or who the landlord might be? If it’s an agency, especially a reputable one, I would report it to them as well as the police.

Lovelyjubbbly · 27/10/2023 10:03

@icebearforpresident it’s a drug dealer that own the house he’s has 3 properties in that building from what I know from the girls In the hairdressers!

thanks for this information I will contact them today and give the details the girls did look cheerful and happy as they were coming in and out of the shops

as far as I know they constantly keep going In to the pay point to put money in to the accounts at least twice a day at large amounts it’s none of my business but it’s just odd when it’s your own home town and don’t really expect this my Daughters Nursery is less than a 2 minute walk from here just not good enough I’m not sure if the women are doing this through there own cause or if they are getting forced in to this.

it’s disgusting because there’s men going in and out constantly and these women are just getting used and you really don’t know if these men are passing anything on to girls It’s a sad situation.
