Normally I get colds literally 4 or 5 times a year and they can take forever to leave me alone but this time I've gone nearly 2 years without one! Just the odd sniffle or bit of a sneeze but nothing more.
Now, I've got a full blown one on me! In one of the drawers of my desk at work I have multiple cans of Monster Ultra and Coke Zero. Laying in bed in the early hours my throat was up, like I'd been eating barbed wire and I was desperate for something wet and fizzy.
Was coughing and wheezing away! Trying not to wake hubby or our cat who was laying on our pillows between us, snoring her cute little head off!
We live in the attic flat above our work place and I couldn't be bothered to clamber down 4 flights of stairs to my desk so I went down the one flight into our kitchen and grabbed a bottle of Stella that had been in there for a few days!
There I was at about 2am sat there guzzling lager! It was soooo cool and refreshing as it slid my throat!
