Which optician for varifpcal comtacts?

Finally loving my varifocal glasses, if not the way I look in them, and realised contacts might be an option too. I've booked a consultation at Specsavers as my usual optician but wondered if there are others with great service who might be cheaper - I can see if I do go for them it could be a massively monthly commitment at a box for each eye at £30 a box so keen to save where I can. Thanks in advance.

I tried them with boots optician - should think they would be similar price. I didn't get on with them- found the slight loss of distance vision wasn't worth it. Another option is short distance contacts and those cheap reading specs?

Thanks a lot. I'll chat through at my appointment as I have one long sighted eye and one short sighted so will ask whether that might be a good option for me.
