Please recommend an app that will let me track my period without mentioning pregnancy or ovulation. I’m infertile and I just want to track my sodding periods

Could someone please recommend an app that will let me track and predict my periods without showing me anything about ovulation, fertile windows or chances of pregnancy? Because god forbid anyone would want to track periods for any other bloody reason.

I have an irregular cycle. I was using Premom to track ovulation and also to track and predict my periods which are currently very irregular which is almost certainly due to stress (historically they were like clockwork).

We have decided to stop actively TTC. If it happens it happens but it probably won’t (we are in ‘IVF won’t work, don’t waste your money even trying’ territory). I just want to try to predict my period.

I downloaded Flo, ticked that I wanted to understand my cycle, and did not tick that I was TTC but it’s still showing me stuff about fertile windows. great, why did you ask then.

Any chance there’s a period tracker that will just track my periods and not mention TTC?

Oh and I should’ve said I only want to predict my period because I want to plan around it / have some idea when it might show, and that I’m using an iPhone.

Use your phone calendar.

I have irregular periods, I need an app to help me predict when they might come.

If you have an iPhone I think the health app does this - predicts when period due and keeps logs, I’ve never seen a pregnancy or ovulation notification

Thank you so much, it never occurred to me to try that!

Fertile period can also relate to different symptoms and mood changes so I think that's why it flags it up. I use Flo and really like it and not trying ttc.

I record my cycle on my Garmin watch and the associated app. It calls the period around ovulation 'fertile window' but as a short hand for the period around ovulation. The actual advice it gives is more about the impact of hormones on exercise etc.

It does! You’re a lifesaver, thank you. It gave me the option to switch on some fertility stuff but I didn’t and it’s doing exactly what I needed. I hadn’t used Health before so would never have thought of it. Thanks - you’ve done me a real kindness.

flo has spammed me with emails and done my head in, deleted.

I'd second Garmin. It does have a "green" window but doesn't push the point at all.

No worries OP X

Fitbit also has a period tracker, I use it as I’m approaching peri menopause. No mention of ovulation, fertile windowsills etc

MujeresLibres · 25/10/2023 22:11

I was also going to say the Fitbit app. You can turn off the ovulation reminders.

ProvisionsOnTheDock · 25/10/2023 22:16

I have very irregular periods and honestly, there's no app that can predict anything for irregular cycles so tracking is pretty pointless. Unless you appreciate knowing that you're 51 days in with no sign of your period.

Keep an eye out for EWCM, 10 to 14 days after that comes you'll get your period.

Justkeepingplatesspinning · 25/10/2023 22:26

My Garmin keeps track of my irregular periods. Over 2 years, it's discovered that I actually do have a regular pattern. One that goes for 6 months before it repeats!

Boymummyofone · 25/10/2023 22:33

I have PCOS and use Flo to track my periods, it's pretty spot on (no pun intended!) once it figures out a pattern it can usually predict when your period is due accurately

ToddlerMumma · 26/10/2023 08:09

The period tracker on the Fitbit app just tracks periods x
