Does mandm direct sell fakes?

recent bought a new coat from them.

Was cheap like 70% off typical retail price. I assumed it was possibly few seasons old/'seconds'.

However when it arrived I though the material looked/felt poor and didn't feel as padded as I would have expected. It's supposed to be waterproof but is at best shower proof. I got wet walking the dog this am.

Wondering if I've just been unlucky or if it might be fake?

Shouldn’t be. They buy from suppliers, they don’t manufacture.

I imagine some of the brands sell off their lesser quality stuff to them though. Brands do straight to TK Maxx or outlet clothing, which isn’t as good a quality that you buy in their main stores. Maybe this is the case?

The quality is just shocking compared to when I've bought from brand direct.

Lesson learned!

I think they make cheaper ranges for the likes of M&M and sports direct. My Under Armour leggings and top from sports direct is much poorer quality than those bought direct from Under Armour website.
