I need talking down I'm under a lot of stress at the moment and my finances is one of them. I decided to apply for a credit card and applied through Quidco to get some extra cashback on top. The transaction went through but I didn't receive any kind of confirmation email.

I've contacted the bank the card is with, they have no record of an application. I've contacted Quidco, they won't respond for up to a week as per their chat bot message.

Have I stupidly fallen for a scam and put ALL of my information out there? I thought I'd been rigorous and checked it took me through to the banks site. What do I do?

I've notified my bank. I've set up an Experian account to track my details but just want to be sick. I'm always so careful!

Really sorry this has happened. No advice really but tomorrow morning type “talk to a real human” on the chat bot section and this normally gets me through to an actual person.

Thank you, I'll try again to speak to someone tomorrow. I'm trying to tell myself that it was a legitimate site because it was via Quidco and that the page just glitched out and didn't process. I wish I could believe myself.

From what I know, Quidco isn't a scam it just takes a while!

Possibly a computer glitch. I had this happen when I applied for a credit card, nothing weird or scam, it just didn’t go through on the last page properly at their end.
Until you know for sure, worrying gives you something to do, but doesn’t help you. Get some rest and deal with it tomorrow.
