What time would you consider late to bed?

Just watching bake off and Alison said she's late to bed and she text Noel at 11 so he's late to bed also.

I don't really consider that late but know I go to bed later than most between 12-1 so I was just wondering what others would consider a late night?

During the week anytime after 10.30 🤣

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 24/10/2023 22:18

After 10.30 for me- any later and I struggle to function the next day without lots of coffee.

WineIsAFruitRight · 24/10/2023 22:19

Late for me. I'm a 10pm girl! (Typing from bed as we speak!) Grin

Greycheck · 24/10/2023 22:20

For me 1-2 is a late night before midnight is an early night

Lecc · 24/10/2023 22:20

After 11.30pm

UndercoverCop · 24/10/2023 22:21

I used to rarely go to bed before midnight and anything before 1am was fine, before DC work around 9:30am and lived very close to the office so I could easily get up at 8:30. Weekends 10am+ unless I had specific plans to get up for.

Now I'm in bed by ten ish lights out mainly by 10:30. Half term and annual leave this week so likely to be awake a bit later, but I find 11:30pm a struggle these days! I need a good eight hours on average and DS doesn't understand what a lay in is yet.

VeridicalVagabond · 24/10/2023 22:21

I'm a night owl 10:30-11:00 is an early night for me. No way I could sleep that early unless I was properly tired. I'm usually in bed between midnight and 1am, anything after 1:30 would be a late night for me.

mynameiscalypso · 24/10/2023 22:22

I'd say beyond 1am is late to bed. It I'm normally working until midnight and then need a bit of wind down time.

MichaelAndEagle · 24/10/2023 22:23

After 11.30 now. When I had little kids, anything later than 10.30.

Mindovermatter247 · 24/10/2023 22:23

Well I usually go to bed at around 10 but don’t actually go to sleep until about 1/2 am…

biscuitcat · 24/10/2023 22:24

Pre-kids, anything before 11/11:30 was an early night, and after 1 probably a late night. Now, after 11 is late for me! I'm hoping when they get a bit older and learn to sleep in that I can get back to my old pattern...

MinnieL · 24/10/2023 22:28

I have two toddlers so anything after 9/9:30 is late for me tbh. I’m only awake because I was craving chinese and I’m currently waiting for it to arrive😂 I usually go to bed at 9 with the kids tbh

Ilovegoldies · 24/10/2023 22:28

In the winter I like to be in bed by 9. I don't go to sleep though. I'll go to sleep around 11. If I'm not in bed by 9.30 I get a bit twitchy 😂

stayathomer · 24/10/2023 22:30

I’m 10.30 too😅 Anytime after that and the following morning I’m as cranky as hell!! (I get up at 5 most mornings though)

Mossstitch · 24/10/2023 22:33

Night owl.....3.00 am would be late. If left to natural rhythm 1.00-2.00am would be normal.

ilovemyspace · 24/10/2023 22:49

Alarm goes off at 7.15 for work and I HATE mornings. I wake up properly at around 3 in the afternoon - I'm really awake and comfortable then

WHO INVENTED MORNINGS!!?? 😒😭😭

Legendairy · 24/10/2023 23:08

After 1am is late for me, I am usually chilling watching TV from 11pmish and often it's 1am before I go to sleep.

Wednesdaysotherchild · 24/10/2023 23:12

2am onwards

AliMonkey · 24/10/2023 23:17

After 1.15am; early night is before 11.45

Youneedtobelower · 24/10/2023 23:19

Late is after midnight. I struggle massively in the mornings though, wish I was an early to bed and early up person
