Driving test buddies?

Hey! So I was just wondering has anyone else got a driving test coming up? :) I have mine in a few days. Saturday morning! I have drove for quite some time now but I'm going to get some more practise in in the next few days! I'm so nervous! X

My son (17yo) has his in a couple of weeks. We've had a problem with driving instructors as we left it too late and didn't book one in advance so finally got one over the summer hols but the instructor could only do Mon-Fri between 9-5. DS started an apprenticeship in September so had to stop using him. By this point we've got his test booked and I've tried tons of local instructors but everyone is booked up. The only one I've found is a crazy lady who constantly tells DS how amazing she is and that his other instructor was rubbish. She also told me she had availability, I paid for a block of 10 hours, and she's only taken him out twice.

She's said she won't take him on the test day (in her car) as he's not ready, and she doesn't want a fail on her record.

She might be right, maybe he isn't ready but he's still going to do the test anyway. We think he's pretty good and just wanted someone to go through the manuevres etc.

We'll soon see!

@Curlybrunette the problem is if the same driving instructor gets lots of fails ( particularly on many points ) they get their car pulled for a certain number of days so it means that other clients potentially can’t take their test in the car and they may be better prepared . Good luck for Saturday @BabyUxX . We’ve just been through this with our daughter who failed first time but passed a couple of weeks ago .
