Are you a fan?
What is the last thing you looked up on Wikipedia?

I find myself using it most days, usually fall down a rabbit hole of links, then forget what I actually originally went on there for!

Family are always laughing at me when I say “Look it up on wiki!”
Incidentally, can you say “I wiki’d it” or is it “wikipeed” 🤔

I’ll be using it a lot today as doing research on holiday destinations.
I love researching different cities, countries and cultures.

I use it a lot but mainly for just looking up celebrities or reading about historical events, although as you say this can lead me down a rabbit hole sometimes!

I last used it last night when I was trying to find where I had previously seen an actor that was in 'The Reckoning'.

@NowNumber5 have you tried editing or writing any Wikipedia articles? I started doing that a few years ago. It was triggered by Mumsnet. I found myself getting into deep discussions, researching obscure facts online (to prove I was right of course 🙂), becoming a bit of an expert, but then having to explain the same things over and over when the same topics came up time and agsin. So eventually I wrote these things up on Wikipedia instead, and just posted the link. Worked a treat. 🙂 Now I find myself editing pages quite regularly, whenever I spot something I think could be better explained or have more evidence attached.

Love it when people get into editing it!
"Oh but anyone can write anything". Well yes, same as most of the rest of the internet, and Wiki requires a source in most cases, so get used to asking "how do I know that's true? " then actually looking for the answer.

You do get the most random of facts included in some articles!

Hang on can anyone edit a wiki page? DP has one for work reasons and I have seen it been edited before just assumed he did it himself!

If it's about himself or his own company he's not supposed to edit it himself. 🙂

Wikipedia is pretty good for objective facts but for anything subjective it is not an unbiased source.
