Instagram account disappeared

My Instagram account appears to have been hacked.

I received an email saying a request to change my password has been received. There is a link provided, if you haven't requested it. I click on that and attempt to log in as usual, but it then says no account found with my email address or mobile number.

I have followed all the steps detailed on this page,and yesterday I got it working. Now this morning it has gone again.

How do I find real help? Going round and round here!

You clicked on the link within the email saying reset your password?

thatll be the scam. Go direct to IG and change your password now?

I have lost two accounts this way.
Even got a request to send a photo of myself holding a sign with my username on.
I was unable to get hold of anyone to help and it was never recovered.

I've had to do all of those things, including a selfie video, and yesterday it was reinstated, but now it's gone again.

I don't want to lose this account! Such a ball ache!
