I suppose depends how expensive. I would maybe up to £50 if it's a gift set and uv seen them in the shops. Fakes tend not to be sets but just the perfume.

Also if they are just selling one and not a whole host of other perfumes etc.

This is a lot more. Think I'll avoid.

I’m selling a Jo Malone on eBay that is quite legitimate. I just don’t get through as much perfume as I used to when I was working away from home.

i sold a perfectly legit Dior perfume on ebay bought for me by my OH from a store reason it was sold was i didnt like it my fave is Opium only one i use the fake ones tend to be sellers with lots of them and feedback usually tells you a lot about how a seller is

I stupidly bought one which claimed to be eau de parfum. When it arrived it was eau de toilette and was clearly a fake. I got my money back but had to pay recorded delivery to return it ( not refunded).

You're pretty safe on eBay as a buyer. If you're not happy when you get it you'll be able to get a refund. It's the seller that takes all risks. I won't sell anything on there I can't afford to lose, but I'm quite happy buying.

Yeah, I'll buy anything on eBay ... as long as the seller has a decent rep. You're covered for disasters, anyway.

I have bought a few vintage perfumes and it was all fine.

They've got 100% positive feedback. I'm not sure they'd risk it as eBay is quite hard on fake sellers.
However they are selling quite a lot of expensive bottles of perfume/aftershave which is odd?

That's what I'm debating. Also their HoF order email looks nothing like any I've had before and that perfume is usually £350 in shops not £300..
