Should I be worried about this rash?!

I keep getting a flat purple rash on my legs (and once on my arm!) like little spots.

last a few days and comes up in a different place

im hoping I’ve attached a pic from todays leg

should I be worried and should I keep chasing an appointment at the doc who doesn’t answer 🙈

Is it purple ish and flat? Or raised?

It’s just flat

Show it to a pharmacist - they'll advise.

Yes I would try to get a GP appt ASAP.

It's Petechiae, caused by tiny blood vessels bleeding under the skin, sometimes from scratching your skin/after a hot shower/something rubbing on your skin like your handbag on your shoulder etc

Most of the time it's nothing serious and will fade in a day or so BUT if it covers whole limbs or your getting it very regular/covers most of your body then visit your GP as in some rare cases it can be caused by an underlying health condition.

I get this regularly since childhood and so does my child (we have fibromyalgia and hyper mobility, but I don’t know if it’s connected).

If it’s the first time I’d get into the GP just to be on the safe side, but after that I’ve been told to ignore it unless you are actually feeling very ill and it might be meningitis.
