Bloody Channel 4 have axed Stephs Packed Lunch

It finishes at Christmas. Such a shame Much better than Loose Women. Or This Morning come to that

Steph was my comfort TV over Covid. I've recently started wfh again and have started watching it again. I'm really sad it's finishing, it's so much better than the This Morning/Loose Women faff. I think I'm just going to have to work my lunch breaks again 😟

The right mix of serious and fun and good participation from studio guests. My Dw is gutted it's going.

Just as an aside - is it just me that has noticed Simon Rimmer isn't wearing his wedding ring anymore?

That's a real shame. I think they've got a really good mix of serious and lighthearted. I've definitely preferred it to ITVs offerings.

Oh ffs, no!!! Why have they done this?! I adore this programme. I was only talking the other day about how much I miss it now that I work full time again, and have been looking forward to watching it during my half term holiday

I have always thought it’s much better than This Morning, and 100 million percent better than that awful Loose Women shite.

I wonder if there’s a petition or campaign to keep it on tv?

Wednesday I was sat in a walk in medical centre for 4 hours waiting for some X-Rays. The TV was showing Good Morning, followed by Loose Women. I could actually feel my Brain Cells dieing. At least Steph's Packed Lunch is watchable.

I liked it too. Don't really understand why they're getting rid.

I really like watching too. I love the variety of the articles and the guests.

I read somewhere today that another 4 shows are facing the axe, but no details as to what they were.

Perhaps would have been better keeping it to a 90 min slot. Have noticed with the 2hr slot the interviews can drag to the point that sometimes Steph looks bored.

Channel 4 has given the reason that audience preferences are changing faster than ever and they want to Level up! They won’t clarify what the rapid change in audience preferences are, what audience they are talking about, or what they mean by levelling up. It’s a bad decision as it’s far better than This Morning or Loose women.
