I’ve ordered a furniture unit from Habitat (Argos) where the dimensions don’t support the size of TV it said on the description. This was only clear when it was built DIY.
I called them to discuss a solution or return but they say I have to take it apart, put it back in the (now wet) packaging and restore to a re-saleable state! This is pretty impossible with large furniture.
They’re very hard to get hold of and won’t respond to web chats.
They said they’d discuss a discount for me to keep it but it doesn’t work as the item is not as described. I want my money back or for them to supply a workaround that doesn’t ruin the item.
Has anyone had the same issue with Argos/Habitat and how did they resolve it?
