Help me find this book/series

It was recommended on here a long time ago (quite a few years).

It was a fantasy type book, with a name similar to game of thrones (Game of kings? Something and thrones?)

And a character with a name starting with Ly?
Lyndall? Lydar?

I’ve googled and come up with nothing.
Appreciate not much to go on, but any ideas please?

Someone on mumsnet had this ‘Ly something’ name as their username, someone else had commented asking if it was from the book series, and they had loved the books. So I googled and it seem right up my alley.

I actually purchased the book, but never got around to reading, then lost it. No idea where it went (we moved a few times along the way).

I’ve checked my Amazon purchase history, and abe books history, and can’t find anything.

Beginning to thing I imagined it

Throne of Glass? Main character is Celaena but could be others starting with Ly.
Or the northern lights trilogy with Lyra?

Garth Nix Old Kingdom books, with Lirael?

I don’t think it was any of these. It might not have been fantasy actually, maybe historical fiction?

Definitely medieval setting.

There’s a Lysander in the Red Rising series?

Lymond Chronicles by Dorothy Dunnett - first volume is Game of Kings.

Court of Thorns and Roses? No idea what the characters are called but that's the title that springs to mind.
